Hi, I’m Tony Oliver.
I’ve been tattooing for over 30 years and have proudly owned Sacred Skin for the past 21. Over the years I’ve learned that a tattoo is rarely just about the artwork. For many people it marks a new chapter, honours a memory, tells a story, or represents a part of themselves they’ve finally chosen to express. Being part of that journey is something I never take for granted. One of my greatest passions is creating ash tattoos, helping people honour and carry the memory of someone they love in a deeply personal and lasting way.
I also specialise in professional cover-ups, giving old or unwanted tattoos a new life through thoughtful design and expert execution. Alongside that, I create scar cover-ups for scars from surgery, injury and self harm, approaching every piece with care, respect and understanding.Whether it’s your first tattoo, a custom design, an ash tattoo, a cover-up, or a meaningful piece that tells your story, my goal is simple: to create artwork you’ll love for life while making the experience just as meaningful as the tattoo itself.

Hi, I’m Ben. I’ve been tattooing for over 20 years, and Sacred Skin has always been home. I started my apprenticeship here under Tony Oliver, spent years honing my craft, owned my own studio, worked alongside some great artists across Brisbane, and eventually found my way back to where it all started.
I love creating bold, timeless tattoos that people are proud to wear. Whether it’s a large custom piece, a meaningful recreation, or an idea you’ve had for years, my goal is always the same—to create a tattoo that’s solid, well-designed, and built to last.
For me, tattooing is about more than just the artwork. It’s about trust, connection, and being part of a tradition that’s been around for thousands of years. Every client has a story, and it’s a privilege to turn those ideas into something permanent. Hi, I’m Ruby. I am a realism and portrait artist with a passion for bringing meaningful stories to life through tattooing.
I am a self-taught artist and have been drawing portraits since the age of 13, and I love translating that passion into creating detailed artwork on skin. I have a deep appreciation for capturing every detail, from the smallest features to the emotions behind each piece.
I love the process of transforming a client’s vision into a piece of art they can carry with them forever, creating tattoos that are personal, unique, and made to last.

I specialise in black and grey realism, blackwork, and custom tattoos. I especially enjoy creating large-scale pieces where I can build compositions that flow naturally with the body. I cover a range of styles and techniques. I love to delve into each project using 35 years of design experience. Tailoring tattoos through a careful consultation process has given many of my clients a special and personal experience.
Some of my favourite types of tattoo are blackwork, colour and anything pop culture! Weird mash ups of styles are always welcome too.

Hi, I'm Maya! Originally from the UK, I've been working in the tattoo industry for nearly three years. I quickly fell in love with the industry after seeing how powerful it is to transform people's stories, memories, and ideas into incredible pieces of art created by talented artists.
As the Studio Manager, I look after bookings and help keep the studio running smoothly. My role is to guide you through every step of your tattoo journey—from discussing your ideas and vision to matching you with the artist best suited to bring your concept to life. I'm here to make the entire process as easy, exciting, and enjoyable as possible, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident from your first enquiry right through to your finished tattoo.
